Possible to install same exact release on same server?

Hello,

Is it possible to install multiple versions of the same SQL Server instance (i.e 2008 Standard R2) on to one and the same Windows Server?

We want to isolate them from different databases who wish to have their own tied to their own application and not have databases share one SQL Server.
