Backup of databases are failling in sql server 2008 R2 server.

Hi All,

when am trying to take the backup of the databases am getting the below error.

Executing the query "BACKUP DATABASE [master] TO  DISK = N'S:\\SQL BACKU..." failed with the following error: "Cannot open backup device 'S:\\SQL BACKUPS\\master_backup_2013_05_20_062434_7801493.bak'. Operating system error 5(Access is denied.).
BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.

Any help much appreciated.
